I was startled to see my name on the title of a fellow airplane passenger’s book en route to Montr\u00e9al. Ever since having spotted my name on the side of a Dutch bank in 1993, I’ve known that my name means “business” in Dutch.<\/p>\n
The plane was already its descent into Montreal, so I had little time to covertly snap a photo of the book for my records and of course for this blog.<\/p>\n
Online I confirmed that the title means “The M\u00fcnster Affair” or “The Case of M\u00fcnster.” It’s a mystery novel about the stabbing murder of an old man that is investigated by retired detective Van Veeteren. From a\u00a0translated\u00a0online review<\/a>:<\/p>\n Stylish, exciting and with much restrained humor and psychology Nesser again makes his name as a writer of thrillers where quality.
