It&#8217;s amazing how taste and smell can transport one so intensely to distant memories.<\/p>\n<p>In our package, we got <a href=\"http:\/\/www.techirrepeco.com\/index.php?Itemid=64\">chirrepeco tea<\/a> (grown locally), some horchata drink powder (Tang brand), Tortix lime flavoured corn chips (everything is flavoured lime in Central America), a brick of chocolate to make hot chocolate Guatemalan style, and then my vice-principal gave me a couple pounds of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cobanav.net\/folk_select.php?key=7\">Dieseldorff<\/a> coffee from Cob\u00e1n &#8211; sooooo goooood.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When my school&#8217;s short term mission group returned from Tactic, Guatemala a couple weeks ago, they transported some gifts sent by very special friends.
