So it was Amber’s inspiration that got us there late at night after a long day at Peter’s wedding. I was tired, but her idea and the opportunity to cross this off my list got me there. Sandy Lake is where I attended school for grades 10 and 11 and the lake was a romantic place then. The sky was clear, the moon and stars were bright, the water clean and warm, the air quiet and moist. It was tremendous. It won’t be the last time, that’s for sure.
